One evening Susie stumbled on some cheap flights to Korea. We had no plans to travel there, but the year before we had travelled to Japan and enjoyed it enormously. Normally, we would spend a lot of time researching our destination and planning an itinerary. For various reasons, 2025 has been a busy year and we were pressed for time. So we decided to try joining an Intrepid tour. It included some promising cultural experiences, and it covered several destinations that we already had in mind. So we signed up and headed on our first trip to Korea on 22 October, during the Korean autumn. This is a brief account of our experiences.
